A stone path winds up and through the Rock Garden, crossing the stream by stepping stones or slab bridges. You can walk up and over, but it's tough going in places and only suitable for the sure-footed.
There are a great number of interesting plants - Grevillea, Fothergilla, the true witch-hazel Hamamelis virginiana and a lovely big handkerchief tree (Davidia involucrata) at the lowest end.

We have some new plantings here... irises and primulas, grasses and hellebores, running down between the rocks and the stream.
There are still some small corners for us to add more plants, which we do every year - some new species and some favourites propagated from elsewhere in the garden.
